Assessment of General Education

Beginning in 2002-2003, Geneseo will assess its general education curriculum on a three-year cycle (that is, roughly one third of the curriculum will be assessed each year). Assessment results will be used to improve teaching and learning in general education.

The current general education assessment plan was approved by the College Senate and by the SUNY Provost's Advisory Task Force on the Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes in Spring 2002.
